Fragile Handle With Care Game Jam Roundup!

We’ve had an excellent time with our “Fragile Handle With Care” game jam! There’s been so many excellent games from our members and we would LOVE to share them with you, unfortunately we only have time for four games this time, but you can always check out even more on your game jam tab on the dashboard!

1. Mix Up by Tobias

In this game by Tobias we see a character of our choosing delivering as many parcels as they can!

There’s a slight catch though, going too fast will break our already fragile parcels before we get a chance to deliver them!! I’m a huge fan of the animated title screen for this one.

2. Box Handler 1 by James

James puts us in the role of a box sorter for a delivery company, our job is to click and drag to sort our parcels into either “fragile” or “not fragile” piles before they run off the edge of the screen and get lost into the void of unsorted parcels!

3. I Hate This Box by Oliver

Oliver decided to not handle our fragile boxes with care, instead opting to let us take our anger out on a box we can fling against walls and destroy to earn points!

These points can be used in a shop to get extra goodies to damage our box quicker like a trampoline or sturdier walls!

4. Down The Stairs by Noah

Noah puts us in charge of the safety of someone strapped to a chair that’s rolling down some stairs.

Short drops are ok to fall from but the longer drops are where we need to intervene by placing comfy clouds for our character to land on and break their fall! This one is really tricky!

And there you have it, a few of our favourite game jam games from this time! We’ve loved absolutely all of the games and animations we’ve seen across this jam and wish we could tell you about all of them. Alas, you will just have to head on over to your game jam tab and play them all for yourself!
