Minecraft Mod Worlds Explained!

If you’re a member of The Code Zone, you might have noticed a fun little tab called “Minecraft Mod Worlds” on your dashboard! If you’re newer, you might not be entirely clued in to what that entails, so, dear reader, let me explain!

As members of The Code Zone, you all get access to a special version of Minecraft Education Edition packed full of fun and interesting things! And what’s even better is you can bring a friend or family member along for the ride using our companion accounts!



Once you’re in, you can start a new world! Our example today will be OP Land!

This world is somewhat of a tutorial for how to use our fun and interesting version. You will be greeted in OP Land by Paul and Tom, not the real mentors though, the NPC forms! In all our mod worlds you will find NPCs dotted around that you can interact with and learn how to code different aspects of minecraft mods!



After a brief chat with Paul you’ll be transported out into the world of OP Land, a place where you can learn how to code mods that will make you into the strongest minecraft player ever!

Each of these mods comes with three variants, “Code It”, “Easy Code”, and “Completed Code” allowing you to set the difficulty you want! 

And finally, once you’ve thoroughly explored OP Land to its fullest, you can use your handy “Code Phone” to find a cornucopia of additional mods to learn and make! All just a single button press away!
